Büyük babaları Alaüddevle Bey'in öldürülmesi üzerine kardeşi Ali Hanla birlikte kaçıp iran'a sığınan Dulkadiroğlu hanedanına mensup son prenslerdendir. Şah İsmail bu iki prense ikramda bulunmuş ve her birine birer vilayet vermişti. Kanuni Sultan Süleyman iran üzerine yürüyüp Tebriz'i aldığı zaman bu Dulkadirli Prensleri Osmanlı Padişahının hizmetine girmek istediklerini izhar etmişler. Padişah da kabul ederek Muhammet Han'a Erzurum, Ali Han'a da Çemişgezek eyaletlerini tevcih etmiştir. Bir zaman sonra Muhammet Han'ın iran Şahı Tahmasp tarafından iğfal edilmeye çalışıldığı öğrenildiğinden Muhammet Han Padişah tarafından Rumeliye kaldınlarak kendisine Niğbolu ve Köstendil Sancaklan arpalık verildi. Akçakızanlık Kasabasın da uzun zaman oturan ve burada bazı hayrat eserleri meydana getiren Muhammet Han 1569 yılında öldü. Tag :        |
